Dr. Paulius Astromskis is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania and also a lawyer and partner at Law office of Viliusis and Astromskis. After earning his bachelor degree of management and economics at Kaunas University of Technology, and master degree of law at Vytautas Magnus University, Paulius has started and in 2014 successfully completed his Ph.D. degree in management at VMU. Dr. Paulius Astromskis background of law, management and economics allows him to provide an interdisciplinary approach to the problems analyzed. Dr. Paulius Astromskis has an extensive experience in solving legal issues. Having his dissertation on the Model of Payday Lending Regulation, Dr. Astromskis continues his research and practice in the field of alternative financial services (crowdfunding, payday lending, etc.) and legal regulation thereof. Research expertise of Paulius include financial behavior of consumers, alternative financial services, development of regulation models using transaction cost theory approach.
