Edita Gruodytė, BA in English language and literature in Vytautas Magnus university (1996), MA in International law in Vytautas Magnus university (1999), and Ph.D. in Social sciences (Law) in Mykolas Romeris university (2003), Lithuania. She is full professor of Law at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania. Furthermore, she is member of the International Association of Legal Ethics, member of ECLAN (European Criminal Law Academic Network). She was a leader of the project “The Conception of the improvement of Lawyer’s ethics regulation and ethical training” financed by Lithuanian scientific board (2012-2014). She has expertize experience- is an expert of Lithuanian scientific board (evaluates various categories both of national and international projects), expert of SKVC (Centre of Quality Assessment in Higher Education) – evaluates both national and interna-tional study programs, was leading the group preparing Descriptor of the Study Field of Public Security, was acting as national rapporteur at EU level for various legal questions. She is a chief- editor of the legal journal “Teisės apžvalga”/Law Review (http://ejournals.vdu.lt/index.php/LawReview ) and editor in two Scopus journals (“Baltic Journal of Law and Politics (http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/bjlp ) and Baltic Journal of European Studies (http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/bjes ). She is the author of several books (one as a sole author, several with co-authors) and more than 40 articles both in English, Lithuanian and Russian language. She teaches some aspects of legal ethics in the course of legal ethics, criminal law (both special and general parts), some aspects of EU Criminal law in Vytautas Magnus University.
